Flexible Boron Sheet
This is a flexible, heat resistant, ozone resistant, lightweight synthetic polymer based containing varying concentration of Boron. Boron has a very high macroscopic cross-section for thermal neutrons. Therefore the material has an extremely good attenuation factor for thermal neutrons. Hence, it provides an excellent shield against thermal neutrons. This product is also stable in vacuum. The above sheets are available for different boron concentrations in range of 5% to 52%.

Size available : 100 cm X 100 cm & 100 cm X 200 cm.
Thickness available : 3 mm to 25 mm.

Self Extinguishing Flexible Boron Sheet
Flexible boron sheets are also available in self-extinguishing property. The above sheets are available in different boron concentrations & different Sizes as mentioned in Flexible boron sheet.

Lead Loaded Boron Flexible Sheet
Lead loaded boron flexible sheet combines lead & boron in synthetic polymer providing an effective shield against mixed neutron/gamma fields. The boron captures thermal neutrons & lead suppresses induced gamma rays. The lead provides shielding against primary gamma rays also. The sheets are available in different sizes, thickness & variable boron/lead concentrations.

Size available : 100 cm X 200 cm & 100 cm X 100 cm.
Thickness available : 3 mm to 25 mm.

Applications :
Neutron Instrumentation, Nuclear Spectroscopy, Nuclear Therapy, Nuclear Power Plant, Beam Lines, Transport Storages & Packing of radioactive materials. This materials is easy to cut & can be bent into small radius.

Boron Polyethylene
Boron Polyethylene with its high hydrogen & boron content makes it a very useful shielding material in areas of Low & Intermediate Neutron Flux. The Boron attenuates thermal neutrons and reduces the level of capture gamma rays, while the high hydrogen content thermalizes fast neutron. It is a lightweight material that can be machined & shaped with standard tools. Boron Polyethylene is available in slabs (50cm X 50cm, 100cm X 100cm), bricks, cylinders, rods, and tubes of different sizes and can be manufactured into custom molds to create application specific shielding forms. The above products are available with boron concentration in range of 1% to 30%.

Self-Extinguishing Boron Polyethylene
Boron polyethylene is also available in self-extinguishing property. These products are available in different boron concentrations & different Sizes as mentioned in Boron Polyethylene.

Lead Loaded Boron Polyethylene
Lead Loaded boron polyethylene combines lead & boron in polyethylene providing an effective shield against mixed neutron/gamma fields. The hydrogen in polyethylene will thermalize fast neutrons. The boron captures thermal neutrons & suppresses induced gamma rays. The lead provides shielding against primary gamma rays also. Lead Loaded boron polyethylene is available in slabs (50cm X 50cm, 100cm X 100cm), bricks, cylinders, rods, and tubes of different sizes and can be manufactured into custom molds to create application specific shielding forms. They are available with varying concentrations of Lead & Boron.

Pure Polyethylene
Pure Polyethylene is often used as a moderator to slow fast neutrons to thermal energies. To be most effective in these applications it is important to maximize the hydrogen content and minimize impurities that absorb neutrons. It is in high purity & Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene. Polyethylene is available in slabs (50cm X 50cm, 100cm X 100cm), bricks, cylinders, rods, and tubes of different sizes and can be poured into custom molds to create application specific shielding forms.

Applications :
